West Lake Dragon Well Tea, named by it’s produced in the West Lake Dragon Well District of Hangzhou in ZheJiang province of China. 

It’s one of Chinese 10 famous teas.Dragon well Tea have "Four Advantages":color green, fragrant, sweet, beautiful shape. Special Grade of 

West Lake Dragon Well Tea is super smooth straight flat, smooth green color, fresh aroma lofty, taste fresh and cool, leaves in the cup 

as a flower. The tea picked and produced before the QingMing Festival called Mingqian Tea. Before, West Lake Dragon Well Tea have levels 

by: Lion, dragon, cloud, tiger, plum. The lion is the best.  To 1995, have  simplifying the levels as special grade (divided into two and three) and 

First to forth grade.

Zhejiang Dragon Well tea is picked and produced in Yuezhou area that is around of Hangzhou area in Zhejiang province. In 1995, the Zhejiang 

Dragon Well tea is divided into special grade and First to fifth grade, a total of 6 levels of sample. 

West Lake Dragon Well Tea‘s standard Level(DSBB33X02 - 95) and Zhejiang Dragon Well Tea‘s standard(DSBB33X01  95) stipulated the 

quality and out-looking in same level is equaled.

1. Special grade: one bud and one leave early development / flat and smooth

2. Second Special grade: one bud and one leave early development / flat and smooth

3. Third Special grade: one bud and one leave early open / flat and smooth

4. First grade: one bud and one leave open(with second leave early development / relatively flat and smooth

5. Second grade: one bud and two leaves open / relatively flat 

6.Third grade: one bud and two leaves open, with a little of leaf folder / still flat

7.Forth grade: one bud and two or three leaves open, with leaf folder / still flat, wide, rough

B. Zhejiang Dragon Well Tea

(Area: Yuezhou area in ZheJiang province: including Shaoxing area, Panan County, Dongyang City, Tiantai County)

1. Special grade: one bud and one leave early development / flat and smooth;length equal the Second Special grade of West Lake Dragon Well tea’s;

2. Second Special grade: one bud and one leave early development / flat and smooth

3. Third Special grade: one bud and one leave early open / flat and smooth

4. First grade: one bud and one leave open(with second leave early development)

 / relatively flat and smooth;body is a little bigger than West Lake Dragon Well tea’s;

5. Second grade: one bud and two leaves open / relatively flat; body is a little bigger than West Lake Dragon Well tea’s;

6.Third grade: one bud and two leaves open, with a little of leaf folder / still flat;body is a little bigger than West Lake Dragon Well tea’s;

7.Forth grade: one bud and two or three leaves open, with leaf folder / still flat, wide, rough
